Are pets allowed?

We love animals. If you have a pet, you are probably missing him or her, which is why we are pet friendly, but only for visits. Before bringing a pet on site please contact Administration for a few guidelines, which help to keep everyone safe.

Can we bring in our own furniture and belongings to decorate the room?

We encourage you to decorate and bring in some furnishings to make your suite feel like home. We supply a hospital bed, dresser, nightstand and television with basic cable.

Is there a smoking area?

We are a non-smoking building and grounds. Families and visitors are encouraged to go for a walk away from the residence if they would like to have a cigarette.

Can a resident drink alcohol after being admitted?

Alcohol is permitted with a doctor’s consent and consumption is monitored by our Nursing staff.

Can I bring any valuables?

We strongly discourage bringing any valuable. A valuable may also be something of sentimental value, not financial value.

Are there any extra costs that would be incurred?

Yes, we have a hairdresser, Foot Care Nurse, Occupational Therapist and a Dental Hygienist that we have contracts with? Any of these services would be additional at the resident’s expense.

What are your visitation hours and policy?

Our visitation policy is guided by the Ministry of Health at this time please check at (put link in here with any updated visitation policy) for any up-to-date information regarding visitation during Covid restrictions.
